Indiana Downs: Horse Racing for the Whole Family

Betting is done in pari-mutuel style, where bets are calculated in a pool; odds can fluctuate from hour to hour, creating an electric betting atmosphere.

Silks & Sulkies offers daily specials like prime rib, pork tenderloin sandwiches, and fried chicken. The restaurant features a full menu that has a comprehensive wine list, soups, salads, and sandwiches. If you don’t feel like taking the time to sit down and dine, Indiana Downs’ Family Pavilion has a concession stand called the E & J Cafe, and the track’s clubhouse offers deli sandwiches and a variety of beer on tap.

The pavilion features hundreds of televisions, an arcade full of flashing lights and cool games, the aforementioned E & J Cafe, and even a playground for Shelbyville children.
